2. Maintenance
Your Xerox DocuTech 65/DocuPrint 65 system is designed to maximize
printer performance. This includes using a short paper path in order to reduce
jams, and Customer Replaceable Units (CRUs) in order to avoid extended
periods of downtime.
This chapter discusses some basic maintenance procedures including the
following:
• Powering-on the printer and the controller
• Powering-off the printer and the controller
• Clearing paper jams
• Changing the Customer Replaceable Units
• Estimating dry ink (toner) usage
Power-on procedures
You will first power on the controller and then power on the printer.
