Removing

Power off the printer and disconnect the power cord from
the power outlet and the printer.
(These steps can be used for configurations with or
without an optional 500 sheet feeder installed.)

Remove all paper trays.

Remove the two screws that secure the printer to the
feeder (from inside the printer).

Using two people, lift the printer off of the feeder.
