In attempting to read a tape label, the system has not encountered
the label part indicated in the message. (Refer to the glossary for
explanation of abbreviations.)
Action 1. Enter the ABORT job command to cancel the job and clean the
magnetic tape drive to ensure that the read process was not
impaired. (Refer to the maintenance chapter in your
DocuPrint

2. Restart the job. If the message reappears, do one of the
following:
a. Press the <CON> key to resume processing. If other “label error”
messages or message OS6500 appear, continue pressing the
<CON> key until the job prints.
or
Enter the ABORT “job” command to cancel the job.
b. Check JSL, making any changes necessary. (Refer to your
