1. Clear areas 1A and 2A.
2. Press the Continue button.
E091 Vertical transport lead
edge jam.
The paper fed from either tray 1 or the duplex tray did not
arrive at the vertical transport switch within the allotted
time.
1. Clear area 1.
2. Press the Continue button.
E092 Vertical transport trailing
edge jam.
The paper fed from any of the trays did not leave the
vertical transport jam switch in the allotted time.
1. Clear areas 1 and 2.
2. Press the Continue button.
E093 Right front door is open. The door was open during printing.
1. Close the right front door while the printer is in
standby mode.
2. Press the Continue button.
E094 Clear paper path behind
right front door.
A job has not printed and completed a purge sequence.
Clear the entire paper path.
E095 A jammed sheet was
successfully purged.
A tray 1 or tray 2 feeder jam occurred, but the paper was
cleared from the feed head during cycledown. The feeder
takeaway roll clutch is turned on for a short period before
the main drives go off.
1. Clear areas 1 and 2.
2. Press the Continue button.
E096 Late arrival at pre-
transfer switch.
The paper failed to arrive at the pre-transfer switch in time.
1. Clear area 2.
2. Press the Continue button.
E097 Late arrival at pre-fuser
switch.
The paper failed to arrive at the pre-fuser switch in time.
1. Clear areas 2 and 3.
2. Press the Continue button.
E098 Late departure from pre-
fuser switch.
The paper failed to depart from the pre-fuser switch in
time.
1. Clear area 3.
2. Press the Continue button.
E099 Late arrival at post fuser
switch.
The paper failed to arrive to the post fuser switch in time.
1. Clear area 4. (Clear the de-curler, then pull the fuser
and examine it for wraps or accordion jams.)
2. Press the Continue button.
