2. To help keep short items stacked neatly in the ADF exit area, lift the paper stop and slide it to
adjust to the length of the documents. Leave the paper stop down when scanning documents
longer than 14 inches (US-Legal).
3. Load the documents face down with their tops into the Automatic Document Feeder.
4. You can now scan the documents using the scanner buttons, OneTouch, or one of the other
scanning interfaces.

Supported Document Types
You can scan the following types of documents with this scanner.
• Document size
– Minimum size (width x length) – 0.5 x 0.5 inches (13 x 13 mm)
– Maximum size (width x length) – 8.5 x 14 inches (216 mm x 356 mm)
