Creating a color for substitution
Use the following procedure to add a new substitute color in a substitute group and specify
the value-name for a color to substitute.
NOTE: A new substitute color can be added only to a substitute group.
TO ADD A NEW SUBSTITUTE COLOR AND SPECIFY THE VALUE-NAME FOR SUBSTITUTION
1 Start ColorWise Pro Tools and connect to the Fiery EXP8000/50.
Start ColorWise Pro Tools from a stand-alone application or Command WorkStation at your
computer, or at the monitor connected to the Fiery EXP8000/50.
2 Click Spot-On.
The Select Output Profile dialog box appears.
3 Select an output profile and click OK.
The Spot-On main window appears.
4 Select the location in the group list where you want to place the addition.
5 Choose New Substitute Group from the Edit menu.
A new substitute group entry appears as Untitled.
