7. Verify that the file you selected appears after “Use Table:” in both places and
click OK.
Separation tables remain loaded the next time you start Photoshop, unless you remove
them.
TO LOAD THE SEPARATION TABLES FOR PHOTOSHOP 5.0:
1. Copy the files “Dc40p.ast” and “Dc40s.ast” to your Adobe Photoshop folder.
2. Launch Photoshop.
3. From the File menu, choose Color Settings, and from the Color Setting submenu,
choose CMYK setup.
4. In the CMYK Setup dialog box, choose Tables for CMYK Model and click Load.
5. Browse to the Adobe Photoshop folder, select the appropriate file, and click Open.
Select the Dc40p.ast file for separating photographic RGB images to CMYK.
Select the Dc40s.ast file for separating solid color RGB images to CMYK.
6. Verify that the file you selected appears after “From CMYK Table” in both places and
click OK.
