Turning On the Printer
The power switch is on the back of the printer above the power cord. Ensure that all of the other cables
are connected, then turn on the printer.
Initial Printer Setup
Ensure that the printer is set up before installing the printer software. Setup includes enabling the
optional features and assigning an IP address for the Ethernet network connection. If the printer has not
been turned on and configured previously, see the System Administrator Guide for your printer model:
