PJL Command Values Description
@PJL XPERSONALJOB There is no
corresponding value.
Starts a Personal Print job.
@PJL XPROOFJOB There is no
corresponding value.
Starts a Proof Print job.
@PJL XSAVEDJOB There is no
corresponding value.
Starts a Saved Print job.
@PJL XSECUREJOB
There is no
corresponding value.
Starts a Secure Print job.
@PJL XIGNOREFF=value
ON, OFF Ignores FormFeed commands when
printing PCL blank pages.
@PJL XLINETERMINATION=value
ON, OFF Terminates a line.
@PJL XMBFSIZE=value
Values can include ANY,
LETTER, STATEMENT,
EXECUTIVE, or other
supported paper type
names. The terms are
case-sensitive.
Sets the paper size for Tray 1.
@PJL XMEDIASOURCE=value
Values can include ANY
or TRAYn, where n is the
number of the tray.
Sets the media source.
@PJL XMEDIATYPE=value
Values can include ANY,
PAPER, LABEL, or other
supported media type
names. The terms are
case-sensitive.
Sets the paper type.
@PJL XPCLTRAYSWITCH=
value
ON, OFF This command switches trays when a tray
becomes empty. If AutoSelect is chosen as
the tray in PCL, then tray switching is
always active, regardless of the value.
When the current tray becomes empty, the
printer attempts to switch to another tray
with the same size and type of paper. This
command only takes effect when a specific
tray, such as Tray 2, is selected in the job.
When this command is ON, tray switching
still occurs when the tray becomes empty.
When this command is OFF, no switching
occurs and the user is prompted to load
paper.
