Horizon ColorWorks PRO Plus is the all-
in-one next-generation document finisher
designed for operation inline to the
Xerox
®
Color 800i/1000i Presses and
Xerox
®
Versant Presses. The compact
multifunctional ColorWorks performs
booklet making, creasing, bleed trimming,
folding, stitching and stacking, making it
a nearly full-service “bindery in a box.”
Professional-quality document production
is managed through an icon-based color
touchscreen for quick, easy and accurate
setups. Edge-to-edge full color bleeds are
made possible with rotary head and foot
trimming of posters, brochures or booklets.
And inline creasing helps improve fold
quality and avoid image-cracking induced
by cross-grain stock.
The compact ColorWorks system performs
corner, side and center-stapling functions,
with booklet folding and face trimming.
Finished booklets are delivered to an
integrated motorized vertical stacker for
convenience and space efficiency.

cartridge (5,000 staples) and adjustable

• Feed Drawer—Can be used to feed pre-
collated sheets in offline mode; it cannot
be used to insert pre-printed covers into
the print stream.
• Folding—Tight, accurate half-folding
is provided with operator accessible
skew adjustment.
• Catch Tray—The catch tray receives
staple only or flat-sheet documents.
• Bleed Trimming—Auto-set rotary
trimmers remove excess paper from
head and foot of sheets for edge-to-
edge color. Trimmings are automatically
removed to a high-capacity waste bin
behind the finisher.
• Channel Scoring—Channel scored
sheets fold without cracking image and
create flatter folded booklets. Multiple
scores can be applied to prepare perfect
bind covers or to pre-score tri-fold
leaflets (tri-folding must be performed
offline).
• Cover Feeder—The feed drawer can be
used for both cover insertion and offline
feeding of pre-collated sets.
