• Disable: Enables the selected port.
• Enable: Disables the selected port.
• Properties: Opens the Add/Socket Properties window where you can edit the properties
of the selected port.
About the LPR Section
The Line Printer Remote (LPR) section allows you to enable or disable protocol.
Select the Line Printer Remote (LPR) check box to enable the protocol.
About the WSD Section
The Web Services for Devices (WSD) section allows you to enable or disable the WSD
application programming interface.
Select the WSD check box to enable the Web Services for Devices gateway.
About the SNMP Section
The Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) section allows you to enable or
disable SNMP and Authentication Trap, Common Settings, and string information.
Selecting the SNMP check box causes the additional options to appear:
• Enable Authentication Trap check box
• Common Settings button
• Community String

- Write
- Trap
About Common Settings
Clicking Common Settings opens a window that displays the following device data and
device support information:
• Device Data: Includes the following:
- Printer Name
- Printer Location
- Customer Site Online Links
