8 Troubleshooting
If the Connection Between SIQA and
the Machine is Lost
Any time the connection between the SIQA Tool and the printer is lost, press the C button on the
UI twice, then Confirm to restore the connection.
If the connection is not restored, do one of the following:
• Open a command prompt in Windows and type Ping xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (machine IP address).
• Go to the Start menu and type Ping xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (machine IP address) into the search
box, then press the Enter key.
A response indicates communication has been established between the PC and the machine and
the following screen displays:
