Expert Color Control
Expert Color Control enables you to fine-tune the colors on your
printed document.
COLOR ADJUSTMENT
In Color Adjustment, there are three slider bars you can use to
make adjustments for lightness, contrast, and saturation. As you
slide each bar, the numerical value for that bar is indicated in the
box to the right of the bar.
Lightness
Lightness relates to the brightness of the color produced. A
higher setting lightens the colors on the document overall,
giving it a faded look, while a lower setting darkens the colors
overall.
Contrast
Contrast adjusts the difference between light and dark color. A
lower setting gives a slight variation from light to dark, and a
higher setting gives a greater variation from light to dark on
your document overall..
Saturation
Saturation affects the intensity of color or the amount of
chromatic color in proportion to its lightness. For example,
this is the aspect that distinguishes a pale red from a bright
red. A lower setting provides less color saturation (is less
colorful), while a higher setting provides a higher color
saturation (is more colorful) on your document overall.
