Connectivity
The C55 printer comes standard with a high speed mini-Centronix IEEE
1284 ECP compliant Bi-Directional parallel port.
- It supports the Win 95 Plug & Play standards
Optional Interfaces include:
• LocalTalk and Serial Port
• Ethernet 10MBPS with BNC and RJ–45 connectors (included with
C55mp)
• Token Ring 4/16 MBPS with RJ–45 and Shielded DB9 connectors
Printing Protocols Enabled with Ethernet or Token Ring Cards:
• NetWare 2.x, 3.x, and 4.x with complete NDS native support
(IPX/SPX)
• AppleTalk (EtherTalk/TokenTalk)
• SunOS, Solaris (TCP/IP)
• WFWG (DLC/LLC)
• Windows NTAS (DLC/LLC)
• Windows ‘95 (IPX/SPX)–Peer to Peer
• IBM LAN Server, Microsoft LAN Manager (DLC/LLC)
• Auto-protocol sensing switches port to correct protocol
• HTTP (CentreWare Internet Services)
