3. To load envelopes, select an option:
− For Number 10 envelopes, load the envelopes print side up, flaps down, with the short edge
going into the printer.
Note: When you load Monarch or DL envelopes, remove the Bypass Tray. For details, refer to
Loading Small Paper Sizes in the Bypass Tray on page 107.
− For C5 envelopes, do one of the following steps.
• Insert envelopes with the print side up, flaps open and down, and the bottom of the
envelope going into the printer.
