Evaluating Productivity
Paper Handling
Review your current and future print volumes and media requirements.
When evaluating paper handling capabilities,
consider your current and future print
requirements. How many print jobs do you
run each day? Will you need additional paper
trays so you can keep sufficient quantities of
different types of paper loaded? Do you print on
heavyweight papers and/or different types of
media, such as labels and transparencies?
The following considerations should be kept
in mind when evaluating this class of Xerox
®
printers and multifunction printers.
PAPER CAPACITY
Ample paper capacity allows you to print
more without interruption. If you print a lot, or
anticipate an increase in your printing workload,
consider adding an extra paper tray.
AUTOMATIC TWO-SIDED PRINTING
If you’d like the ability to produce your own
professional-looking collaterals, look for
automatic two-sided printing. You’ll not only
improve the look and feel of your documents,
you’ll also use less paper.
AUTOMATIC DOCUMENT FEEDER
Need to copy multipage documents? An
automatic document feeder lets you insert
an entire report, presentation or any other
multipage collateral into the device and copy
every page at the push of a button.
CUSTOM MEDIA AND PAPER SIZES
The right paper handling capabilities and
features allow you to bring more types of
color print jobs in house. Consider the variety
of media the printer or multifunction printer
can handle, such as labels and card stock, and
whether the device accepts a wide range of
paper sizes.
