Replace Drum Cart. The drum cartridge has
reached end of life. Replace the
drum cartridge.
To replace the drum cartridge, follow the
instructions included with the drum cartridge
packaging, or refer to Replacing the Drum
Cartridge.
Toner is low. Order
Print Cart.
The toner cartridge is nearing
end of life.
• Reorder a new toner cartridge now.
• Do not replace the toner cartridge until the
message is displayed to replace it.
• You may temporarily increase the printing
quality by redistributing the toner. For details,
refer to Redistributing Toner.
Replace Print Cart. The toner cartridge is empty.
Replace the toner cartridge.
To replace the toner cartridge, follow the
instructions included with the toner cartridge
packaging, or refer to Replacing the Toner
Cartridge.
Install Print Cart. The toner cartridge is not
installed correctly, check the
toner cartridge position.
1. Open the front cover.
2. Pull out the toner cartridge, then reinsert.
3. Close the front cover.

Install Drum Cart. The drum cartridge is not
installed correctly, check the
drum cartridge position.
1. Open the front cover.
2. Pull out the toner cartridge.
3. Pull out the drum cartridge.
4. Insert the drum cartridge.
5. Insert the toner cartridge
6. Close the front cover.

Invalid Print Cart. An incompatible toner
cartridge has been detected.
1. Open the front cover.
2. Remove the toner cartridge.
3. Insert the correct toner cartridge.
4. Close the door.
