Description
5 Control Panel Display The control panel display provides information
about settings, statuses, and error messages. An
asterisk ( *) next to a menu option indicates the
current default setting.
6 Pause Printing This button changes the printer state. When
paused, communication is disconnected from the
computer or print server. However, printing
continues until all pages received before the pause
are completed.
7 Power/Wake When the printer is off, this button turns on the
printer. When the printer is on, this button displays
the Power Saver menu on the control panel. From
this menu, you can choose to power off the printer,
or enter a low-power mode.
This button also blinks to indicate the power status
of the printer.
• When the light blinks slow, the printer is in a
low-power mode.
• When the light blinks fast, the printer is
powering up, powering down, or exiting a low-
power mode.
8 Print Menu This button provides access to documents stored in
the printer or the server, such as Secure Print.
9 Up and Down Arrow Buttons These arrow buttons navigate to the next menu,
item, or option.
10 Cancel Job This button ends the current print job.
11 Printer Ready or Processing Light The light appears green when the printer is ready
to receive data, and blinks when the printer is busy
receiving data.
