Chapter 4 Logical Printer Setup and Operation (6030/6050 only)
PS/PDF Option
The available selections set up the default media size, roll, and DMS for PS/PDF
data.
Settings The settings for this function are as follows.
Menu Item Description
Default Media
Size
If media size information is not included in the print data, and
no media is loaded in any trays, the page size of the data will
be the selected media size.
The default setting is [ISO_A0].
Default Media
Source
If media size information is not included in the print data, the
page size of the data will be the selected media size.
The default setting is [ROLL 1].
Default DMS If a DMS is not specified in the print data, the page size of
the data will be the media size specified on the logical
printer. The available settings are [ENABLE] and [DISABLE].
The default setting is [DISABLE].
Plot Area This selection sets up the printable area.
The default setting is [Normal].
[Normal] Adds 4 mm margins to the top, bottom, left, and
right sides of the media. Print data is placed inside the
margins.
[Extend] No margins are added. Images will be printed to the
edge of the page.
