20.18. Client
If you experience slow printing from Windows 2000 using the Standard TCP/IP Port, contact Microsoft
Product Support. For more information on this issue, see Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 816627, which is
described at support.microsoft.com.
20.19. Command Workstation
• Job Management must be performed from the Xerox
®
EX Print Server user interface instead of the
printers interface.
• Jobs archived using a previous version of software may not be compatible to later versions of the
Xerox
®
EX Print Server, powered by Fiery
®
.
• Some applications do not support all Adobe PostScript features. Usually the application will simply
ignore the feature, but in rare cases a printing error may occur.
• Printing from some applications may require Use PDF/X Objects to be disabled (it is Default Off) to
allow for proper printing.
20.20. DVD/ CD-RW
Although files cannot be archived directly to CD-DVD, they may be archived offline, copied to CD-DVD and
then retrieved by importing archived file from CD-DVD.
20.21. PPD’s and Print Drivers
Mixed Media attributes can only be programmed from the page attributes at the client’s UNIDRIVER. For
those clients that do not utilize the UNIDRIVER (Mac OS X), mixed attributes must be programmed at the
Command WorkStation (CWS).
