Before You Start

This E-mail chapter assumes you have a general knowledge of your

network and the operation of your Web Browser software.

List of items needed before you can setup the Scan to E-mail:

• Document Centre printer is functional on your Network

• Document Centre printer has TCP/IP enabled

• Document Centre printer has HTTP enabled

• Access to a functional SMTP Mail Server

• IP address of SMTP Mail Server

• E-mail and Network Scanning installed

• E-mail domain available (e.g. @mail.company.com)

• Workstation(s) connected to network which has the TCP/IP

enabled

• DNS enabled
