Locate the Black Ink Cartridge holder inside the printer. The Black Ink
Cartridge holder is located on the right side of the Cartridge Carrier
Assembly and can be identified by a black key tab.

Slide the Black Ink Cartridge down into the holder and push it in the
direction of the arrow until it clicks into place.
Note: If you want to install the optional Photo Ink Cartridge, you must first
remove the Black Ink cartridge. Next, install the Photo Ink cartridge into the
cartridge holder in place of the Black Ink Cartridge.
