LCD Display Meaning Solution
CARTRIDGE
MISMATCH
The print cartridge is not
correctly installed in the
machine
Following the procedure
in Installing Ink
Cartridges on page 1-
11, remove and re-
install the print
cartridge.
INK OUT The print cartridge is out
of ink.
Install a new print
cartridge.
DUPLICATED The number entered is
already stored in another
one-touch or speed dial
location
Check the number and
enter under one location.
RETRY REDIAL? The machine is waiting
for the programmed
interval to automatically
redial a previously busy
station.
You can press Start to
immediately redial, or
Stop to cancel the redial
operation.
COMM. ERROR There is a fax
communications
problem.
Try faxing again.
