BAR CODE OPERATING PROCEDURES
ALI Places the system in Bar Code Alignment Mode. This
mode is to facilitate the positioning of the bar code
reader before the production run is initiated.
If the bar code reader is aligned correctly when sending a job, a
message indicating sheet delivery and the sequence number will
display on the Messages window:
OS1268 BAR ALIGN: Sheet delivered. Seq1 = 0001 , Seq2 = 00000
If the bar code reader is aligned incorrectly when sending a job,
a message indicating sheet delivery only will display on the
Messages window:
OS1269 BAR ALIGN: Sheet delivered.
Notes: • The BAR OFF command is only accessible from log
level 5. BAR ON and BAR ALI are accessible from log
level 2 and above.
• You may turn Bar Code mode on or off only when the
printer is cycled down.
