• Through the system controller terminal
Turning bar code on/off through
windows 1. Open Job Control Menu at the System UI.

Note: The Bar Code Reader Control Window is only available if
the system has the Bar Code Reader option installed.
Turning bar code on/off through
command line Enter the following command:
BAR [{OFF[,n]/ON/ALI}]
OFF Disables bar code processing. The job can still be run,
but no sequence verification will occur. Audit reports
will show all deliveries as being without sequence
numbers. The BAR OFF MODE continues until BAR ON
is entered.
n This is an optional command indicating that the BAR OFF
condition will only continue for n image sides, or until
output encounters the end of report, whichever occurs
first.
The value of n can be in the range of 1 to 65534.
ON Allows the resumption of bar code processing.
