HIP PRINTING TASKS
End HIP
Use this task to shut down HIP in an orderly manner.
• The current files being received, transmitted, or printed (if
any) are completed.
• The internal HIP job queue is saved on the system disk for
later restart.
• The following message appears in the Messages window of
the PC UI or the system controller display:
HP1020 HOST INTERFACE PROCESSOR UNLOADED
• The connection to the current host is sent offline.
End HIP task though windows Select the “End” option from the HIP window's header auxiliary
menu.
End HIP task through command line Enter the following command:
HIP END
