12. Problem Solving
Paper Jams Inside Finisher Left Cover
This section describes how to remedy paper jams that occur at the
following locations:
• Paper jams at lever 1a and knob 1c
• Paper jams at lever 1d
• Paper jams at lever 1b
NOTE: Remedies differ according to the paper jam location.
Follow the instructions displayed to remove the jammed
paper.
Paper jams at lever 1a and knob 1c
1. Make sure that the machine has stopped and then open the
left cover on the light finisher.
2. Move lever 1a downwards and turn knob 1c
counter-clockwise. Remove the jammed paper.
NOTE: If paper is torn, check for any torn pieces of paper inside
the machine.
