Locating the
Token Ring
Hardware Address
Figures 1.2 and 1.3. show the location of the Token Ring
hardware address, serial number and speed of the
XNIC-TRING.

A JX1 pins
Pins 2 and 3 on JX1 must
be strapped together for
proper operation of the
XNIC-TRING.
B JX2 pins (Token Ring speed)
 Pins 1 and 2 are strapped
together for 4 mbps.
 Pins 2 and 3 are strapped
together for 16 mbps.
This is the default setting.
