Problem Solving
“Close lower left door” message. ¾ Slide the Finisher/High Capacity Feeder
away from the printer.
¾ Open the lower left door and then close
it. Ensure the door is latched securely in
place before sliding the Finisher/High
Capacity Feeder back.
The machine does not display the High
Capacity Feeder (or one of the paper trays)
in the Paper Supply selections.
¾ Check to see if any paper trays are
open. If a tray is ajar, the machine
cannot sense its connection.
¾ Open and close each paper tray and the
High Capacity Feeder, power OFF the
machine and then power ON the
machine.
The touch screen does not display the
Finisher/Stapler option
¾ Slide the Finisher into its correct
position. The Document Centre
configures itself when additional options
are attached.
The machine does not accept documents
into memory
¾ Check with the Key Operator about the
available memory capacity. If the
memory is almost full, print and delete
unnecessary files.
The machine displays a memory full error
message
¾ Check with the Key Operator about
available memory.
¾ Divide the remaining pages of the job
into several small jobs and run the job
again.
