2 Open the latch and disconnect the power-button board cable from the

system board.

3 palm rest assembly

3 Close the display and turn the computer over.

4 Peel the tape that secures the power-button board cable to the palm-

rest assembly.

5 Remove the screw that secures the power-button board to the palm-rest

assembly.

6 Note the power-button board cable routing and peel it off the palm-rest

assembly.
