2 New Capabilities in Version 10.2 Software 2 The following is a list of new capabilities enabled with version 10.2 software: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. The Xerox Tape Binder (XTB) is now configurable in Dual Mode (2 XTB’s connected together). Disable status messages when trays are disabled. This de-clutters the status message area when a tray is disabled. Add a custom edge erase feature that can set the edge erase in the range of 0 mm to 6 mm for each of the four edges.
3 Release Issues 3 Issues resolved The following is a list of Nuvera 10.1 issues that have been resolved and no longer apply to Xerox Nuvera 10.
Release Issues Xerox Nuvera Issues remaining from previous release CQ#45919 Tray Programming Reverts to Default Settings Description When 'After Every Tray Cycle' tray confirmation is enabled, and a tray is cycled, all tray programming, except for Stock Size, in the pop-up confirmation window is set to default.
Xerox Nuvera Release Issues CQ#43522 Annotation-2 Description When performing a “Copy and Save” or “Print and Save” operation with annotations turned on, the reprint of the saved job will be unreadable. Workaround Perform a “Save” operation and then “Print” the saved job. CQ#44256 Configuration Backup Description When performing a Configuration Backup, make sure you do not exceed the maximum disk size of the CD. If you do, the backup will fail without an indication as to why. Workaround None.
Release Issues Xerox Nuvera CQ#38117 Short Edge Feed 9x11 Stock Description 9 x 11 stock cannot be loaded short edge first (SEF). Workaround Load an SEF-only stock such as Legal, run one or more sheets on that stock, then unload it and put in 9x11 S CQ#26871 Queue and Job based subsetting fails for Odd number of pages duplex jobs Description Subset offset and finishing can be programmed on job in the job manager or on a Queue. This works fine for simplex jobs.
Xerox Nuvera Release Issues CQ#46849 Message stating 'The online configuration file online.config does not exist' when closing the 'Gateways' Description The above error message may occur when closing the “Gateways” window in the Online Setup tab. Workaround If this occurs, select OK in the error message and then close or Cancel in the gateways window.
Release Issues Xerox Nuvera When exiting MICR Mode, the Edge erase remains at no erase Description When exiting MICR Mode, the edge erase setting will remain at “none”. We leave it to the user to set the edge erase to the values they want. Workaround Do not forget to set the edge erase to desired setting after exiting MICR Mode.
