Product Take-Back List
Overview
Significant work has been conducted to look at
the impact to the environment and the value
of bringing each used item back for processing
individually. The items listed here and on the
website today are those items for which Xerox
will pay the individual return shipping and
processing costs.
Xerox encourages you to recycle items not
on the “take back” list locally. Some products,
identified as number 2 plastics, may be
recycled in your local mixed plastic stream.
If you are at a business location with an
industrial recycling program, then a wider
range of items may be recycled through
that program.
Supplies used in our products are also designed
for safe local disposal. Please contact your
Municipal Waste Service or Industrial Recycling
Provider for more information as programs vary.
Alternatively, items not on the take back list can
also be returned to our authorized recycling
partner and Xerox will pay the processing fees
associated with the asset recovery while the
customer pays the shipping charges to return
the items.
How do I locate my part number?
The part number (or SKU number) of a
customer replaceable supply item is an alpha
numeric code typically containing an “R.”
To locate this number please review the panels
on the carton as the number usually occurs
on two or more panels. In most cases, the
number will be located on the bottom right
side of the panel below the Xerox logo

Items can be returned to the Xerox Authorized
Recycling partner at the following address:

As an alternative to returning items
individually, Xerox encourages use of the
pre-paid Eco Box or Bulk Returns program as
an economical way to return all of your used
Genuine Xerox
®
Supply items found on the
take-back list for recycling.
