1. Safety instructions
Do not use the X-Rite vipFLEX 2 system in environments where explosion hazard exists.
Do not expose the vipFLEX
2 system to strong electromagnetic radiation.
Do not use the vipFLEX
2 system in environments with temperatures higher than 40°C or lower than 10°C.
Do not store the vipFLEX
2 system in environments with temperatures higher than 70°C or lower than -20°C.
The vipFLEX
2 system must be protected from chemical agents, corrosive vapors, strong vibration and mechanical impact.
To avoid damage, the vipFLEX
2 system must always be shipped in the original packaging.
Use X-Rite accessories and spare parts only.
Do not lift the vipFLEX
2 system using the measuring arm.
Ensure that no objects are placed on top of the vipFLEX
2 .
Unauthorized dismantling of the vipFLEX
2 will void all warranty claims.
The plastic housing of the instrument may be cleaned with a damp cloth with some soap.
The vipFLEX
2 will not work if it is connected to the USB port on your keyboard or to a USB-Hub without external power supply.
If this product is used in a manner not specified by the instruction, the safety protection provided by the device may be
impaired or become inoperable.
