8 Measuring
1. Launch the PlateQuality Flexo software. If the vipFLEX 2 measuring device is detected correctly, the video
preview will be started automatically, otherwise click on the Preview button.
2. Select the substrate type (film, plate, print) on the vipFLEX
2 measuring device. The substrate type currently
selected will be indicated by an LED. Details on the substrate type can be found in the help of the PlateQuality
Flexo software.
3. In the software program, select the substrate type being used.
4. Place the measurement sample onto the measurement table above the measuring aperture.
5. Press the measuring arm onto the sample (the measuring arm will then press down automatically). Then release
the measuring arm to ensure that an even pressure is being exerted on the measuring sample during the
measurement.
6. Click to conduct an automatic measurement.
