7 Installation
Please read these instructions before using your vipFLEX 2 :
1. Install the PlateQuality Flexo application software onto your PC. The software can be found on the vipFLEX
2 application CD.
2. Insert the dongle into a free USB port (if the USB dongle is not connected, the software will start in a demo mode).
3. Connect the vipFLEX
2 measuring device to your computer using the USB cable (the vipFLEX 2 will not function if it is
connected to a USB HUB without a separate power supply).
4. Launch the PlateQuality Flexo application software on your PC.
5. When launching for the first time, the PlateQuality Flexo software will ask for the calibration code and the serial number of
the vipFLEX
2 measuring device, as well as the serial number and expiration date of the vipFLEX 2 Target. The device data can
be found on the rear of the vipFLEX
2 measuring device; the data of the vipFLEX 2 Target can be found on the vipFLEX 2 Target.
