j. If during programming mode another option which is not *7, *8, or *9, is
used it will indicate the fault with 4 beeps.
k. If during programming the options *7, *8, or *9 are used, and the
configuration #35 is set to disable the voice announcer.

If the Dialink has it's dip switch N.5 at ON, and the serial E2prom is not
installed/malfunction or dose not have a default programming.
