22.7 Pre-certiﬁed antennas

The certiﬁcation is valid for antennas with gain smaller than 1.7dB, for example:

• 1/2 dipole (1.6dBi).

• 1/4 wave ground plane antenna (0.3dBi).

Using antennas with higher gain the requirements for power spectrum density might be

violated for radio proﬁle 9. Using other antennas, the integrator has to retest and either

reduce the output power or limit the duty cycle.
