Typographic Conventions
Throughout this user's guide, typefaces and characters are used to denote the following:
COURIER FONT Indicates characters typed on the keyboard.
For example, /ON 3 or /OFF 5.
[Bold Font] Text set in bold face and enclosed in square brackets indicates a specific key.
For example, [Enter] or [Esc].

As shown in Figure 1, the NPS front panel includes a series of LED indicators which function as follows:
ON: Lights when AC Power is applied to the NPS.
RDY: Flashes when the NPS is ready to receive commands.
