designed for private use and is unsuitable for commercial purposes.
Hazards for children and people with impairments using electronic devices
Camera, accessories and packaging are not toys for children. Please keep out of the reach of
children. Among other things, there is a risk of electric shock, poisoning and suffocation.
Camera and accessories may not be used by children and persons with impediments in using
devices. The camera may only be used by persons who are physically and mentally fit enough to
use it safely.
Electrical risks
If foreign objects or a liquid have gotten into the camera, switch it off and remove the
batteries. Allow everything to dry completely. Otherwise there is a risk of fire or electric shock.
If the camera has been dropped or the housing is damaged, switch it off and remove the
batteries. Otherwise there is a risk of fire or electric shock.
The camera may not be taken apart, modified or repaired. There is a risk of fire or electric shock.
Heat damage - re risk
Never leave the camera in places where the temperature is likely to rise (i.e. in a vehicle).
This could damage the housing and internal parts, which in turn can cause fire.
Never wrap the camera or lay it on textiles. This could lead to a heat build-up in the camera,
which can deform the housing and cause a fire risk.
Risks through use of batteries
Remove the batteries if the camera will not be used for a longer period.
Do not remove the batteries immediately if you have been using the camera over a longer
period. The batteries may become hot in use.
Improper replacement of the batteries or use of batteries of the wrong type can cause
explosions. Use only batteries of type LR6 (AA), 1.5V or NiMH rechargeable batteries with the
same specification.
Under no circumstances expose the batteries to excessive heat, such as sunshine, fire etc.
There is a risk of fire and explosion. For that reason, never store batteries near a fire, oven or other
heat sources.
Never store batteries at temperatures under 10°C or over 40°C.
Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
Never store or transport batteries in a bag, toolbox or the like where there is a risk that they
could come into contact with metal objects.
