Important
- Please read these instructions fully before starting operating
These instructions contain important information that will help you get the
best from your drain rod set, ensuring it is operated correctly and safely.
12 Piece Drain Rod Set
• Screw the drain rods together tightly, in a CLOCKWISE
direction, to achieve the required length.
• If it is necessary to twist the rods whilst pushing them through
drain pipes, ensure that you do so in a CLOCKWISE direction to
avoid unscrewing the rods.
• If a rod becomes stuck, do not try to release it by use of
excessive force – this may punch a hole through the pipe. Gentle
pulling and twisting (in a clockwise direction) should free the rod.
• Do not, under any circumstances, enter a drain. Only trained
and certified drainage personnel using appropriate breathing
apparatus may enter drains.
• Wear suitable wet work gloves at all times and avoid putting
your hands in places where vision is limited.
Rotate and tighten the drain rods ONLY in a clockwise direction.
Twisting in an anti-clockwise direction will loosen the rods & place
undue strain on the threads. Failure to follow these instructions may
result in snapped threads, and such action will be classed as misuse
and void the product warranty.
