speed forward play. DVD players will have multiple scan speeds that can be activated
with successive presses of the ◄◄ [triangle 18] and ►► [triangle 37] Buttons. The
scan speeds will vary by device and brand. To escape scan, press ■ (STOP) [triangle
19] or ► (PLAY) [triangle 36].
g) To record video, press the record button (red circle) [triangle 19].
AV/AUX
NOTE: A/V AUX can cover a wide variety of devices from DVD/CD players to Cable/SAT
receivers to VCRs to TiVo to read/write Media Servers. Functions will vary by device. For this
example generic controls are provided.
Keypad
a) Press AUX [hexagon 18]
b) Press PAU/STOP [hexagon 6] to pause or stop a device in play.
c) Press PLAY
[hexagon 21] to play device.
d) Press ▲ CHANNEL ▼ [hexagons 7, 20] to adjust channel up/down.
e) Press I◄◄ SKIP ►►I [hexagons 8, 18] to skip chapters or tracks. Press I◄◄
[hexagon 8] once to return to the beginning of the current chapter/track. Press I◄◄
[hexagon 8] twice quickly to return to the previous chapter/track. Press ►►I [hexagon
18] to advance to the beginning of the next chapter/track.
