DISC 3 (iPod)
Keypad
a) Press DISC 3. [hexagon 3] If the iPod is not playing the iPod Main Menu will appear on
the Keypad Information Display [hexagon 13]. If it is playing audio program the NOW
PLAYING SCREEN will appear.
b) In the iPod MAIN MENU, press Arrow Up/Down [hexagons 6,7] to select Category.
Options: Playlists, Artists, Albums, Genres, Songs, Composeres, Audiobooks and Video.
c) Press SEL [hexagon 20] to select the Category.
d) Press Arrow Up/Down [hexagons 6,7] to select from the Category Options.
e) Press SEL [hexagon 20] to select the Option.
f) Press M [hexagon 21] to return to the previous iPod Menu Screen.
g) Press ► II [triangle 36] to play/pause a track, album, playlist, etc.
h) Press ■ [triangle 19] to stop the iPod.
i) Press I◄◄ [triangle 16] or ►►I [triangle 39] to skip tracks.
j) Press ◄◄ [triangle 18] or ►► [triangle 37] for high speed reverse or forward play.
k) Press BACK [hexagon 12] to return to ENTERTAINMENT.
l) Press MENU [hexagon 11] to return to MAIN MENU.
When playing Video or viewing Photos from the iPod:
NOTE: The iPod must be connected to the aDock before selecting Video from the Keypad.
The KP21 Keypad cannot control iPod Video. iPod Video can only be controlled from the
iPod while docked to the aDock.
a) In the iPod MAIN MENU, press Arrow Up/Down [hexagons 6,7] to highlight VIDEO.
b) Press SEL
[hexagon 20] to select VIDEO. The ipod MAIN Menu will open on the iPod.
c) FROM THE IPOD, with the iPod plugged into the aDock, Navigate the iPod Menus to
select the desired Video or Photo content.
d) Press the iPod Center Button to play video content.
e) Press the iPod ►II Button to play a slideshow.
VR (Video Recorder)
NOTE: VR can cover a wide variety of devices from VCR to TiVo to read/write Media Servers.
Some functions may vary by device. For this example a generic digital video recorder will be
used.
Keypad
a) Press VR [hexagon 20]
b) Press STOP [hexagon 6] to stop video.
c) Press PLAY [hexagon 21] to play video.
d) Press PAUSE [hexagon 7] to pause video.
e) Press I◄◄ SKIP ►►I [hexagons 8, 18] to skip chapters or tracks. Press I◄◄
[hexagon 8] once to return to the beginning of the current chapter/track. Press I◄◄
[hexagon 8] twice quickly to return to the previous chapter/track. Press ►►I [hexagon
18] to advance to the beginning of the next chapter/track.
f) Press ◄◄ SCAN ►► [hexagons 9, 17] for high speed reverse or forward play. Press
◄◄ [hexagon 9] for high speed reverse play. Press ►► [hexagon 17] for high speed
forward play. DVD players will have multiple scan speeds that can be activated with
successive presses of the ◄◄ SCAN ►► Buttons [hexagons 9, 17]. The scan speeds
will vary by device and brand. To escape scan, press PAU/STOP [hexagon 6] or PLAY
[hexagon 21].
g) Press BACK [hexagon 12] to return to ENTERTAINMENT.
h) Press MENU [hexagon 11] to return to MAIN MENU.
Remote
