Flush with cool water. Remove contact lenses, if applicable, and continue flushing. Obtain medical
attention if irritation persists.
Eye contact
Rinse mouth. Do not induce vomiting. If vomiting occurs, keep head low so that stomach content
doesn't get into the lungs. Get medical attention if symptoms occur.
Ingestion
Direct contact with eyes may cause temporary irritation.
Most important
symptoms/effects, acute and
delayed
Treat patient symptomatically.
Indication of immediate
medical attention and special
treatment needed
Ensure that medical personnel are aware of the material(s) involved and take precautions to
protect themselves. If you feel unwell, seek medical advice (show the label where possible). Show

smoking. Keep out of reach of children.
General information
5. Fire Fighting Measures
Dry chemical. Carbon dioxide. Fog. Foam.
Suitable extinguishing media
Do not use water jet as an extinguisher, as this will spread the fire.
Unsuitable extinguishing
media
The product is combustible, and heating may generate vapors which may form explosive vapor/air
mixtures. During fire, gases hazardous to health may be formed. Firefighters should wear a
self-contained breathing apparatus.
Specific hazards arising from
the chemical
Firefighters should wear full protective clothing including self-contained breathing apparatus.
Special protective equipment
and precautions for firefighters
In case of fire and/or explosion do not breathe fumes. Move containers from fire area if you can do
so without risk. Cool containers exposed to heat with water spray and remove container, if no risk
is involved.
Fire-fighting
equipment/instructions
Use standard firefighting procedures and consider the hazards of other involved materials.
Specific methods
Combustible liquid.
General fire hazards
May include and are not limited to: Oxides of carbon. Oxides of sulfur.
Hazardous combustion
products
6. Accidental Release Measures
Avoid contact with eyes.
Personal precautions,
protective equipment and
emergency procedures
Remove sources of ignition. Pick up towels and discard in trash. Wipe or mop up liquid, if any,
and dispose of properly.
Methods and materials for
containment and cleaning up
Avoid discharge into drains, water courses or onto the ground. Do not discharge into lakes,
streams, ponds or public waters.
Environmental precautions
7. Handling and Storage
Keep away from open flames, hot surfaces and sources of ignition. When using do not smoke.
Avoid prolonged or repeated contact with skin. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
Wash thoroughly after handling. Use good industrial hygiene practices in handling this material.
Precautions for safe handling
Store in a closed container away from incompatible materials. Store in a cool, dry place out of
direct sunlight. Store away from incompatible materials (see Section 10 of the SDS). Keep in an
area equipped with sprinklers. Keep out of reach of children.
