SPECIFICATIONS Model Number: EO9RP Description: This Movable Control Pendant is specially designed for DC-powered vacuum lifters that are equipped with a dual vacuum system. An electrical cord enables the operator to remain outside the load's path while retaining access to vacuum controls for attaching and releasing the load. Pendant cords are also available in lengths suitable for installing windows and other construction materials in multi-story buildings.
INSTALLATION Assemble the vacuum lifter as directed in the ASSEMBLY section of the lifter's instruction manual. Also install the Movable Control Pendant as follows: 1) Attach the multi-pin connector on the pendant cord securely to the corresponding electrical connector on the lifter's power system. 2) Attach the strain relief bracket to the control handle or other appropriate location on the lifter, as necessary to prevent stress or damage to the pendant cord.
GENERAL OPERATION Operate the vacuum lifter as directed in the OPERATION section of the lifter's instruction manual, with the following exceptions: Whenever you are directed to press an apply button ( ), an enable button ( ) or a release button ( ) on the lifter, instead press the corresponding button on the Movable Control Pendant, as shown.
MAINTENANCE When performing inspections and tests as directed in the lifter's instruction manual, be sure to include all parts of the Movable Control Pendant whenever applicable, with special attention to the following: • When performing inspections of lifter controls as directed under the INSPECTION SCHEDULE, check the pendant cord connectors and strain relief for correct attachment.
LIMITED WARRANTY Powr-Grip products are carefully constructed, thoroughly inspected at various stages of production, and individually tested. They are warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one year from the date of purchase. If a problem develops during the warranty period, follow the instructions hereafter to obtain warranty service. If inspection shows that the problem is due to defective workmanship or materials, Powr-Grip will repair the product without charge.
