2.4.2 Carbon filter
Always insert the CARBON FILTERS before you install the ALUMINIUM GREASE
FILTER.
Replace the carbon filters regularly (see also chapter CLEANING AND
MAINTENANCE).
CARBON FILTERS for your extractor hood are optional available.

WARNING! Switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains
before you install any carbon filters (use the relevant fuse in your
household fuse box).
HOW TO INSTALL THE CARBON FILTERS:
1. Remove the ALUMINIUM GREASE FILTER (3 / s. fig. in chapter 2.4.1 VIEW OF THE
BODY OF THE EXTRACTOR HOOD).
2. The CARBON FILTERS are intended to be installed on both sides of the motor.
3. Place the CARBON FILTER on the motor and turn it clockwise until it is firmly
tightened ( s. fig. below).
