2.2 Ceiling installation
WARNING! Failure to install the screws or fixing device in accordance
with these instructions may result in ELECTRICAL HAZARDS.
WARNING! Do not damage the wiring in the wall while drilling. RISK
OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
NOTICE! Two assistants are required for installation.
We recommend to carry out the installation of the extractor hood by qualified
personnel. Damages caused by improper installation of the appliance are not
subject to the guarantee or warranty!
Always use dowels and screws according to the characteristics of the ceiling on
which the mounting plate will be installed. If you are in doubt that the fixing
material is suitable for the installation on your ceiling, ask an electrician or
qualified engineer which suitable fixing material should be used for the installation
of the appliance.
INSTALLATION STEPS:
1. Position the mounting plate of the extractor
hood on the ceiling and mark the position of
the drill holes.
2. When having inserted the suitable fixing
material (dowels, anchorages, etc.) into the
ceiling and fixed it securely, screw the
mounting plate tightly.
