OFTEN MISUNDERSTOOD AND MISUSED
You can’t beat the speed of microwave cooking, but home
cooks are often wary of the results. The key to creating
gourmet meals with this mode is to adapt the power and
time to the water content of the food you are making,
instead of simply selecting full microwave power. Also, foods
with high water content often cook with better results.
Canning Jar Chocolate Cake
A quick and easy alternative to baking an entire cake. For your next gathering, set out toppings
like fresh fruit, crumbled candy bars and cookies, and caramel and chocolate sauce for a
do-it-yourself dessert bar.
