APPENDIX A: Software Upgrades
Introduction
This chapter describes how to download a software update file to your computer,
transfer it to a USB flash drive and install the updated software into an iVAM1-1.
Download the Software
The iVAM1-1 software update can be found at http://www.wohler.com, or contact
Wohler Customer Support for more information.
You will need to copy the update file(s) to a USB flash drive. Unzip and copy the
update file(s) from your computer to the root directory (not inside a folder) of a
USB flash drive. It must be of the FAT32 file type, and does not need to be empty.
Local Update from the Front Panel
Use the following steps to update the software:
1. Insert the USB flash drive with iVAM1-1 update package(s) into the front
panel USB jack. Refer to the Download the Software section of this chapter
for the specifics of download and file transfer to the USB flash drive.
2. From the Main Menu screen, touch System Options. The screen shown in
Figure A-1 will appear.

3. Insert the flash drive containing the system update into the USB socket on
the front panel.
4. In the System Options menu, touch System Update. The System Update
screen will appear, as shown in Figure A-2.
