Analog Output Preference
The Analog Output Preference determines how the Selected/
Downmix Analog Output connectors and the Metered Analog
Output connector output the metered signals when either the DM1,
DM2, or DM3 downmix options are selected. Refer to Rear Panel
Connectors on page 14 for details.
The default setting is Downmix
DownmixDownmix
Downmix, which outputs the speaker assign with
individual channel scaling (gain settings) intact as determined by the
selected downmix. However, if you select Discrete
DiscreteDiscrete
Discrete, then all channels
with the downmix are output from these connectors at full gain without
scaling of the channels as determined by the selected downmix.
To change the analog output settings:
1. Hold the Fn button while pressing the Setup button.
2. Press the Down button until the LCD screens AOutPref
AOutPrefAOutPref
AOutPref as shown
in
Figure 3–1 below.

3. Pressing the Enter button displays either Figure 3–2 or Figure 3–3
depending on the current setting.
