4.2.5 Replace water fi lter
This program appears when you use a water fi lter and the usage has been confi rmed during the initial
settings (chapter “2.5 Insert the WMF water fi lter” on page 10).
However, depending on the water hardness and the water fl ow, at least after 3 months, a display
requesting to change the water fi lter, appears. If you do not replace the water fi lter you must deactivate
the use of the water fi lter under basic settings. In this case you must always remove the old water fi lter
and the fi lter adapter.
> Call the customer care programs (“4.2.1 Calling up the
customer care programmes” on page 53).
> Browse to fi lter change with the help of

> Start fi lter change with the

> Take out the water tank from the automatic coffee
machine.
> Exchange the old fi lter for a new one as described under
the chapter “2.5 Insert the WMF water fi lter” on page 10.
> Fill the water tank with cold tap water.
> Place the lid on the water tank.
> Slide the water tank gently into the automatic coffee machine.
> Press the button

> Place a 3 litre collecting container under the hot water spout.
